Cambridge Summer Music Festival
Cambridge Music Festival has a new director, Justin Lee, and is now an annual event. The next festival takes place from 9 - 20 November and artists include Murray Perahia, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Andreas Scholl, Alison Balsom with Tom Poster, The Tallis Scholars and The Schubert Ensemble.

Ralph Woodward

Musical Ensembles

Scottish Clarinet Quartet
The Scottish Clarinet Quartet (SCQ) consists of four prize-winning musicians who met whilst students at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Since 2002, the group has enjoyed acclaim and success as Scotland's foremost clarinet quartet, performing at venues and festivals across the UK from Cambridge to Campbeltown. Concerts have frequently been combined with enthusiastically-led workshops for local children, most recently for Kilmardinny Music Circle and Stranraer Primary school.
