Ernest Bloch

Ernest Bloch

The creator of music of great spiritual expression, Ernest Bloch was born on 24 July 1880 in Geneva, Switzerland.

He was one of the most original composers of the 20th Century whose music, while intellectually challenging, was accessible to a wide audience.

His works were regularly performed from the 1920s to the 1950s, particularly in the USA, UK and Italy.

The following list will be added to from time to time and there is hope that this will form a complete catalogue of this composer’s works commonly available.
